Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has approved the recruitment of thirty-nine 39 doctors, including one hundred and fifty-six other health workers in the state.
The move came as a response to the reported shortage of manpower and the poor state of the health system in the state’s thirteen General Hospitals since 2015.
Before the recruitment, it was said that the state had only six doctors in its employ.
