The Ebonyi State Election Petition Tribunal has been directed to relocate to Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The President of the Court of Appeal, Monica Dongban-Mensem, gave the directive on Wednesday.
The Secretary of the Tribunal, Nyior Sekulla made this known on Wednesday in a statement to journalists in Abakaliki.

According to him, the tribunal office at the Ebonyi State Judiciary Headquarters in Abakaliki has been shut down from today, Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
He added that all petitions will now be attended to at the Tribunal office in Abuja.
In another development, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi, has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of bias.
According to the former Anambra governor, INEC could be supporting the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu.
He said this while reacting to a preliminary objection filed by INEC at the Tribunal asking the tribunal to throw away the petitions of Obi and his party.
