Ebrahim Raisi: Iran Rocked by Assassinations of Top Intelligence Officials

Two high-ranking officials from Iran’s intelligence service have been assassinated, including the chief of police, Ahmad-Reza Radan, who was reportedly hit by seven bullets.

Reports held that the assassination occurred just 72 hours after the tragic plane crash that claimed the life of Iran’s president, Ebrahim Raisi.

It was also learnt that the development comes on the heels of the alleged assassination of the head of the intelligence service in Lorestan province.

The timing of these events has raised questions about the circumstances surrounding the recent helicopter crash, which killed Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian.

Some are speculating whether the crash was indeed an accident or if it was a coordinated attack.

According to the United States (US) Civil Defence News, Mossad, Israel’s national intelligence agency, may be involved in the latest assassinations, further fueling speculation about their potential role in the plane crash.
