ECWA expressed profound appreciation to God for answering the prayers of its members and the global Christian community, describing the development as evidence of divine faithfulness and the power of united prayers.
Despite celebrating his safe return, the church warned that the abduction highlights persistent insecurity in the country.
“The rising wave of kidnapping, which has sadly become a means of livelihood for some, is a threat to our collective existence and must be addressed urgently,” ECWA said.
The church called on all levels of government to take decisive and sustained action to dismantle criminal networks behind such heinous acts and to ensure the safety of citizens nationwide.
Agang was reportedly kidnapped on Tuesday morning from his residence in Farin Gada, Jos North Local Government Area. ECWA reaffirmed its commitment to praying for peace in Nigeria and the protection of all citizens.
