The Edo state government has announced a new date for schools to resume across the state.

Governor Godwin Obaseki, also ordered a fresh curfew in the state in a bid to curtail the spread of Coronavirus.

Nigeria’s Federal Government had on Thursday approved for schools to resume for academic
on January 18th, 2021.

In a tweet on Friday, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Jack Obiyan, stated that Obaseki also directed that the new curfew will be observed from 10pm to 5am daily beginning from today, January 15th, 2021.

He further added that when schools resume, anyone without facemask would not be allowed into school premises across the state.
