Controversial rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has criticized Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, in his new single “Emilokan.”
In one verse, Abdulkareem accuses Pastor Adeboye of hypocrisy, noting that while he protested against bad governance during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s regime, he now claims that “Nigeria has spiritual problems” under President Tinubu.
Abdulkareem calls on Pastor Adeboye to organize a one-million-man protest against Tinubu’s government, as he did during Jonathan’s tenure.

“Where is our daddy, Pastor Adeboye? During Goodluck Jonathan’s regime, your voice was so loud. You even vowed to stage a one-million-man march. Now, with hunger and hardship under Tinubu’s government, you say Nigeria has spiritual problems,” he raps.
“Baba, we need your one million disciples to protest against President Tinubu’s government just like you protested against President Jonathan. Daddy, or are your disciples now too tired to march?
“This is very big hypocrisy. It’s time for you to speak the truth to power because hunger is killing Nigerians.”
