“They were arrested in Sabon Kaura and Gwalameji areas of Bauchi, Bauchi State capital, following credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities,”
the Commission stated.

During the raid, operatives recovered a wide array of electronic devices and other items believed to have been used in the execution of online scams.

Among the items seized were 15 iPhones, 9 Samsung phones, 3 Redmi devices, 1 Infinix phone, 2 iPads, and 8 laptops. Also recovered were 4 Neonx Auto motorbikes, a Peugeot 406 car, 2 PlayStation 4 consoles, a PlayStation 5, a Maxi E50KWH generator, and a pistol.

The EFCC added that all suspects will be charged to court once investigations are concluded.
