EFCC Arrests 5 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Lagos | Daily Report Nigeria

The Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested five individuals suspected of internet fraud.

The suspects, Tamaraemi Akpoviri, Jonathan Oshioke Okhumode, Jordan O. Clifford, Okorie J. Christian, and Enabule Peace Osaro, were apprehended during a sting operation at the Buena Vista Estate, Orchid Road, Lekki area of Lagos State.

It was said that the operation was conducted following an intelligence report on the activities of some individuals suspected to be internet fraudsters in the area.

During the arrest, the operatives recovered several items from the suspects, including exotic cars, mobile devices, and laptop computers.

According to the EFCC, the suspects have provided their statements and will be charged in court once investigations are concluded.
