EFCC Arrests Two ‘Yahoo’ Schools' Owners, Students | Daily Report Nigeria

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission men from the Benin Zonal Command, on Tuesday, arrested two owners of yahoo schools and seven other suspected students of internet fraud in Benin City, Edo State.

This was disclosed in a brief statement obtained by newsmen on Thursday.

The agency said two of the arrested suspects run Internet Fraud Coaching Centre (a.k.a HK) in Benin City.

They were Osagie Ogiemwonyi and Onukwugho Favour.

Seven of their “students” were arrested at their centres after an actionable intelligence search by the Commission, the EFCC said.

The names of the seven students were given as Destiny Ohikwugbe, Chata Okoro, Ighodaro Omede, Ehigie Idemudia, Lawrence Daniel, Raymond Ogiemwonyi Oghosa, and Henry Philip.

The Commission noted that Items recovered from the suspects include a Mercedes Benz GLK, Lexus 350, phones, and laptops.
