EFFC Releases Rochas Okorocha After Two Nights of Drilling

Rochas Okorochas regauns freedom from EFCC

Former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, has been released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after two nights of questioning, Daily Report Nigeria can confirm.

Okorocha’s release was disclosed by his aide, revealing the former governor was released around 5:45 pm and he’s currently in his Maitama residence in Abuja.

The anti-graft agency was yet to make a public statement as at the time of filing this report.

Recall that Senator Rochas Okorochas was taken custody by the EFCC on Tuesday for questioning over alleged financial misappropriation of over ₦7 billion.
