Foremost Niger Delta group, the Ijaw People’s Development Initiative (IPDI) has called on the general public to disregard the activities of one Mr. Henry Binidodoagha, who recently imposed himself as a King of Egbema Kingdom, Edo State.
According to the group, the self-acclaimed ex-millitant leader imposed and crowned himself king of Egbema Ijaws in Edo State.

In a press release on Sunday by it’s Acting National Secretary, Comrade Emma Ken, the IPDI maintained that Egbema has not appointed nor crowned Binidodoagha as king.

Comrade Emma called on the general public to disregard the purported activities of the imposter, saying the activities of Binidodoagha were meant to bring disgrace and divide to the kingdom for selfish gains, which he labeled as unacceptable.
Emma stated that Egbema Kingdom cannot crown a new paramount ruler when the late king was het to buried, describing it as a taboo in the traditional institution of Izon nation.
He emphasized that the Izon traditional institution in Egbema is too sacred for an individual to impose himself as king, promising that the imposter will soon be arrested and made to face the law for his naferrous activities.
The group called for calm and assured the public that the kingdom will follow due processes in electing a new king in no distant time.
