The National Leader of Jaro Egbo Hivoltage Movement, Olorogun Barr. Jaro Egbo (KSC) has mourned the death of Dr. Cairo Ojougboh.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that Dr. Ojougboh collapsed and died while watching the semi-final match between Nigeria and South Africa at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday.

The former Executive Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) reportedly slumped after Nigeria conceded a penalty that was converted by South Africa.

His demise has since been attributed to a likely shoot up of his blood pressure while enjoying the game.

Reacting to the development, Egbo described his death as a colossal loss to both the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Delta State.

In a statement by his media aide, Stanley Madiba Angadi, the SPAD Transport/Chairman of the Delta State Palliatives Committee lamented that a patriotic Nigerian had been called home.

“His wisdom, guidance, and unwavering commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to work alongside him.

“As we mourn the loss of Dr. Ojougboh, let us also celebrate his life and the countless lives he touched. His passion for progress, his compassion for others, and his relentless pursuit of justice will continue to inspire us all.

“In this time of grief, let us remember his legacy and honor it by continuing the work he started, by striving for excellence in all our endeavors, and by embodying the values he held dear.

“Hus death is a colossal loss to the APC and Delta State. Nigeria just lost a patriotic citizen.
