President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged Muslims across Nigeria to use the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr to pray for peace, unity and national prosperity.
In a message conveyed through his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan.

“As Muslims worldwide celebrate Eid-el-Fitr… we must continue to abide by the virtues of piety, selflessness, perseverance, kindness and compassion beyond this period,” he said.
Tinubu stressed the importance of sustaining the lessons of Ramadan, noting that the period teaches empathy, discipline and unity among humanity.
He further called on Muslims to extend acts of kindness to the less privileged, regardless of religious differences, as a way of strengthening national cohesion.
The President added that such gestures would promote harmony and reinforce the spirit of togetherness across the country.
