Deji Adeyanju, Abuja-based activist, has advised Nigerians to be careful when travelling to foreign countries.
The socio-political commentator gave the advise while reacting to reports claiming that former Nigeria Deputy Senate president, Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice Nwanneka Ekweremadu were arrested in the United Kingdom for allegedly facilitating the “travel of another person with a view to exploitation, namely organ harvesting”.
In a tweet on his official Twitter handle, Adeyanju said he would wait to hear more details about Ekweremadu’s issue.

According to him: “I will wait to hear more details about the Ekweremadu’s issue but people should be extremely careful when traveling abroad. When leaving Nigeria, I don’t even check in any bag before an airport staff is paid ordinary N50k to plant drugs in my bag.”
