The House of Representatives has called on the Attorney General of the Federation to refrain from deleting the contentious section 84(12) of the Constitution.

The House made the call after debating a point of order moved by the minority leader, Ndudi Elumelu, on Wednesday.

The minority leader had raised the point of order on the judgment and asked the House to act by appealing the judgment of the Federal High Court.
