Emirates has announced the immediate suspension of all flights to and from Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport until further notice due to ongoing airspace closures across parts of the Middle East.

The airline disclosed the development in a statement shared on its official X account, noting that the decision was taken as a precautionary measure amid growing regional tensions affecting several flight routes.

According to the airline, all scheduled operations to and from Dubai have been suspended indefinitely while authorities continue to monitor the security situation.

“All flights to and from Dubai have been suspended until further notice. Please do not go to the airport. Emirates will share updates when available,” the airline said.

The carrier also appealed to affected passengers for patience and understanding as it assesses the evolving situation.

Earlier travel advisories had indicated that commercial operations would remain suspended until 23:59 UAE time on March 7, but the latest announcement has now extended the halt indefinitely.

Airlines across the Middle East have been adjusting flight routes or suspending services due to airspace restrictions linked to heightened military strikes and security concerns in the region.

Passengers scheduled to travel through Dubai have been advised to regularly check updates from Emirates and confirm their flight status before heading to the airport.
