Some youths on Thursday took to the streets of Ibadan to protest against an alleged extortion by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of extortion.

This is coming days after a similar protest broke out in Delta State, following the arrest of about hundred youths by the anti-graft agency.

The End EFCC protesters converged at the Oyo State Government Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan, to express their displeasure over alleged assault on innocent youths by EFCC operatives.

The protesters caused human and vehicular traffic as they lamented the illegal house searches and arrests carried out by the operatives, while seeking a swift review and reform of the agency’s activities.
