#EndBadGovernance Organizers Plan One-Million-Man Protest In All States | Daily Report Nigeria

One of the key organizers of the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protest has noted the plan to take things higher as they plan a one million man protest.

Recall that a massive number of people have taken to the street as they Lament over the hardship in the country, while also calling on the government to do something about it.

Releasing a statement on Thursday, August 8, one of the key organizers, Take It Back Movement, through it’s National Coordinator, Mr Sanyaolu Juwon notes that the One-Million-Man Protest will happen in all the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja.

He said,

the Take It Back Movement (TIB), side-by-side with other organizers and organizations will on August 10, lead a monumental one-million-man protest in each of the 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.

This event will mark a critical juncture in our nationwide EndBadGovernanceInNigeria campaign, which began on August 1, 2024.

 

“It started as a planned 10-day protest but has evolved into a sustained and widespread movement, drawing participants from every corner of Nigeria and the diaspora.”

 

Daily Report Nigeria recalls that the protest, which had began on the 1st of August has seen a lot of people troop out in their numbers with the aim of getting the attention of the government.

 

There has also been some violence in the protest, as many have been confirmed dead following a shoot out by uniform men. One of the death includes a 16 year old boy who went to protest.
