#ENDSARS: Lagos Women Protest Against Peace Walk in Front of Deputy Governor’s Home

Some women in Lagos state on Thursday staged a peaceful protest against the peace walk idea initiated by the Lagos State Government.

In a video shared by Linda Ikejis blog, the protesting women were spotted in front of the Lagos deputy governor’s house in Ikoyi.

Adetoun Onajobi, popularly known as Just Adetoun, one of the End SARS protesters Sanwo-Olu invited for a peace walk, who led the women, said a walk of peace cannot hold until justice is served.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, there can be no walk of peace until Justice prevails for every child that was murdered during the EndSARS protest. We want accountability.

“We are mothers. We are mourning. There is no peace in the land. If you do not seek justice for our children, no peace shall be in Lagos state. You have turned our morning into night, our joy into sorrow. If other women are cowards, we are not cowards” Toun said
