A church service is billed to take place at Logos Christian Centre in Oregun, Lagos on October 17.

Memorial protests will also hold in major cities like Ibadan, Port Harcourt, and Abuja.

According to the flyers, a combined team of activists will hold another event at the Lekki tollgate, Lagos on October 20, to mark the infamous Lekki Toll Gate Massacre.

The release of the activity timetable follows a warning against any form of #ENDSARS protest by the Lagos State Police Command.

According to the Command, the state cannot afford a repetition of the severe destruction caused by hoodlums who hijacked the #ENDSARS protests.

Daily Report Nigeria can recall that the Lekki tollgate became the epicenter of the #EndSARS protests in 2020, as soldiers forcefully disperse protesting youths, with many reportedly dying from bullet wounds.

The Lekki tollgate shooting on armless protesters by men of the Nigerian Army remains a dark memory in the history of the most populous black nation.

According to DJ Switch, who was first to share clips of the shooting at the tollgate, at least 15 young Nigerians were shot dead while singing the national anthem.
