The Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Sam Adeyemi has reacted to the lawsuit filed against him and 49 others promoters of the #ENDSAES protest against police brutality and bad governance in Nigeria.

Recall that the revered pastor was sued alongside 49 other public figures by an activist identified Kenechukwu Okeke, over an alleged conspiracy to commit misdemeanor.

In a suit filed at the Federal Capital High Court in Abuja, Okeke claimed that the defendants were punishable under Section 97 (2) of the Penal Code Act, C53 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

However, Pastor Adeyemi in a tweet on Tuesday via his official Twitter account wrote, “Who sent this guy to file this frivolous lawsuit?”

Some of the sued promoters of the #ENDSARS protest include human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu, former Super Eagles Star, Kanu Nwankwo, a former Director-General, Bureau for Public Sector Reforms, Doctor Joe Abah, Kiki Mordi, and actors, Yul Edochie and Uche Jombo, Feyikemi Abudu, Olorunrinu Oduala, Pamilerin Adegoke, Japhet Omojuwa, Ayo Sogunro and Deji Adeyanju.

Also sued are Peter and Paul Okoye, Innocent Idibia, also known as TuFace, Bankole Wellington popularly known as Banky W, Tiwa Savage, Michael Ajereh (Don Jazzy), Yemi Alade and others.
