England’s World Cup campaign will kick off against Iran at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha.
Gareth Southgate’s team will be looking to have a strong start by picking up all 3 points against Iran.
Kyle Walker will not take part in the first match despite returning to training but the English team will maintain a midfield trio of Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham and Mason Mount which might prove too strong for the Iranian team.
Iran’s major injury concern revolves around Sardar Azmoun who has been out with a calf injury since the start of October. In place of Azmoun.
