The Enugu State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure has announced the start of full reconstruction of Agbani Road in the state’s Enugu South Local Government Area.
Engr. Greg Nnaji, Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, advised all motorists and other road users to “exercise reasonable caution, and keep an eye out for diversionary and cautionary road signs already put in place at strategic locations along the road by the Ministry to ease traffic movement.”
The Ministry solicited the cooperation and understanding of ‘Ndi Enugu’ and assured the public that “all necessary measures have been put in place to ensure reasonable, unhindered movement throughout the period of reconstruction works on the road”.

The statement reads as follows:
“This is to inform the general public that the Enugu State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure has begun the full reconstruction of Agbani Road, Enugu, in accordance with Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s administration’s Urban Renewal Drive and Upgrade of Critical Infrastructure Programme.”
In light of the foregoing, all motorists and other road users are hereby advised to exercise reasonable caution and keep an eye out for diversionary and cautionary road signs that the Ministry has already placed at strategic locations along the road to ease traffic movement.
While requesting NDI-cooperation ENUGU’s and understanding, the Ministry assures the public that “all necessary measures have been put in place to ensure reasonable, unhindered movement throughout the period of road reconstruction.”
