Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has expressed his support for the club’s pursuit of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. The Blues are in the market for a new striker this summer, with Osimhen being a top target.

However, Chelsea is hesitant to meet Napoli’s initial asking price of €130 million (£110.8 million), which aligns with the player’s release clause.

Although Napoli has reduced their valuation to €100 million (£85.8 million), both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are still unwilling to match that amount.

According to Sky Sports Italy, Enzo Maresca has personally given the green light for Chelsea to go after Osimhen, especially after their attempt to sign Samu Omorodion from Atletico Madrid fell through over the weekend.
