EPL: Gerrard Returns to England As New Coach of Liverpool’s Rivals
English Premier League side, Aston Villa have appointed Stephen Gerrard their new head coach.
Liverpool’s legend has put pen to paper for a deal which runs for two and half years.
The 41-year-old sealed a move from Rangers in the Scottish Premiership to succeed Dean Smith who was sacked few days ago.

The aged Smith was announced fired on Sunday following a poor run of form.
Villa will then remunerate Rangers for Gerrard and his assistant Gary McAllister with a sum of £3.25 million – £4 million.

Gerrard who joined the Teddy Bears in 2018 succeded at ending Celtic’ s nine-year reign as Champions last season as he led them to their first league title in 10 years.
AVFC who are 16th on the table are two points and two places ahead of the relegation zone having picked up 10 points from 11 matches so far.
The England International will therefore get into business on the 20th when his side will be going head-to-head with Brighton Hove & Albion in a league tie.
