Yesterday’s 4-0 loss at Elland Road however, proved to be the straw that broke the camel’s back for the 66-year-old manager.

Before yesterday’s loss which now beclouded Leeds’ hopes of remaining in the English 1st tier League next season, the ex-Lille coach had watched his side conceded 6 goals to Liverpool and 4 to Ralph Rangnick’s team.

The Whites have now amassed 23 points to sit 16th in the EPL table and are two and three points ahead of Everton and Burnley who still have two outstanding matches each.

Meanwhile, Leeds have not changed their coach since 2018 but the former Lazio manager’s departure will compel them to fill the vacuum left by the Argentine.

The club have therefore, kept an eye on the American manager, Jesse Marsch with whom they want to replace Biesla, talkSPORT can confirm.
