Manchester City annihilated Leeds United seven goals to nil in Tuesday night’s English Premier League encounter at the Etihad Stadium.

Following the victory, Pep Guardiola’s citizens were able to extend their lead ahead of the EPL title rivals including Liverpool and Chelsea.

City, who suffered a 2-1 defeat against RB Leipzig in their UEFA Champions League tie, however, gained balance as they hosted the Peacocks last night.

Meanwhile, The Citizens managed to pull out a 1-0 win over Wolves last weekend through a penalty converted by Raheem Sterling.

Last night, City doubled their lead through Jack Grealish’s goal 5 minutes after Phil Foden opened the scoring in the 8th minute.

Kevin De Bruyne netted the 5th goal at a half-hour after he first scored the 3rd goal in the 32nd minute before Riyad Mahrez scored the fourth.

John Stones eventually had the 6th goal for the hosts in the 74th minute before the result was finally sealed with Nathan Ake’s goal four minutes later.

The Citizens will now be traveling to St. James’ Park on Saturday to take on Newcastle United in the next EPL fixture.
