Former Manchester United star, Owen Hargreaves, has identified Fred as the one to blame for Manchester United’s draw against Everton on Saturday.

Anthony Martial had given the hometeam a 1-0 lead before Fred was barged off the ball by Demarai Gray, and converted to an equalizer by Andros Townsend.

Pissed off by Fred’s error, Hargreaves said the Brazilian midfielder ought not to have missed the legs if he had missed the ball.

Some fans have blamed the 1-1 tie on the coach’s decision to drop Pogba, Ronaldo and some other top stars on the bench for the game.

However, Hargreaves diclosed that it was Fred’s mistake which cost the hosts to share from the points they should have fully earned.

He added that if it was to be the reign of Sir Alex Ferguson, Fred would have been dropped for at least one month due to such costly error.

Hargreaves told Premier League Productions: “Never ever, not in a million years [should that goal be allowed to happen].”

“That’s what you get paid for, that’s why you’re there, that’s your job to stop that goal. I would’ve taken that personally.”

“It can’t happen. Sir Alex wouldn’t forgive you for that, you wouldn’t have played for a month, seriously.”

“He has to win those tackles. And if he loses it, you foul him, you bring him down.”

“You’ve got to win that. You cannot get bumped off the ball by Demarai Gray and if he does, you foul him. ”

“United don’t have control of games, it’s their corner, how can a goal like that happen?”

“I know Harry Maguire is missing and they miss his leadership but if you’re going to play two defensive midfielders in there – McTominay and Fred – that goal can’t happen.”
