River Plate forward, Julian Alvarez has on Tuesday concluded a contract with Manchester City, Romano Fabrizio can confirm.
Cityzens have been in talks to sign the 21-year-old River Plate striker with the deal expected to be in the region of £17m.
The market expert and football journalist, Fabrizio made the disclosure via a tweet.

However, the Argentine winger will not join his City’s teammates until the summer after his loan spell at Marcelo Gallardo’s side.
According to Sky Sports, Alvarez has to be offloaded for a fee around £15million-£17million.
Alvarez’s current loan deal at River Plate expires in December, six months after the next Argentine Primera season takes off.

Meanwhile, Alvarez has already represented his country on five different outings.
Fabrizio tweeted: “Julián Álvarez to Manchester City from River Plate, done deal and here we go!”
