English Premier League has revealed new rules for postponement of league matches.
Henceforth, before any premier league game can be postponed, the club calling for the postponement will have to prove four positive COVID-19 cases.
All the 20 clubs competing at the top level of the English football league system gave the go-ahead to this on Wednesday, 26th.

Meanwhile, the unanimity was due to a series of controversial decisions in postponement of matches.
The rule will however, become operative before Saturday, 5th when Watford will be travelling to Turf Moor for a league clash against Burnley.

The number of games that have been held over goes to a tally of 22 in this ongoing league campaign.
The last game to be putoff was the Gunnar’s trip to Tottenham Hotspur for the North London Derby.
Also, fans will need not show their Covid passports anymore, before they will be allowed to watch Premier League games.
