The English ex-player revealed that joining Ralf Rangnick’s side would not heighten Neves’ chances of lifting trophies.
The Wanderers have set the minimum transfer fee of £50million for any club interested in signing the former Porto star who still have unexpended two years under Bruno Lage.
Wolves now sit eighth on the EPL table with just three points behind the seventh-placed United who they spanked 1-0 on Monday’s league encounter at Old Trafford.

Hence, Mills said there are more reasons why Neves should not depart Molineux Stadium for Rangnick’s side.
Mills told talkSPORT: “Wolves have got as much of a chance at winning the Carabao Cup or the FA Cup.”
“Manchester United aren’t going to win the Premier League, and they’re not going to win the Champions League.
“Wolves might get into the Europa League, and they’ll have a better chance of winning the Europa League than Manchester United will have at winning the Champions League.”
