West Ham manager, David Moyes has disclosed that Kurt Zouma will be selected among the squad to clash against Leicester City on Sunday.

Recall, the Hammers defender is currently in desperate straits following the allegation of mistreating his pet cat.

He was filmed by his brother in the course of kicking and slapping the cat and the video was later uploaded on Snapchat.

The 27-year-old will therefore face the consequences which according to the French legislation is a minimum of four-year in prison.

The former Chelsea player was said to have also been fined to a tune of £250,000.

The cat in question alongside his other cat were seized by RSPCA.

In the previous reports, the France international was said to have been removed from David Moyes’ squad to clash against the Foxes in tomorrow’s League tie.

However, Moyes has revealed that the player will participate in his side’s match scheduled to take place at King Power Stadium tomorrow evening.

Meanwhile, the former Manchester United boss was blamed for picking Zouma against Watford on Tuesday after the video of the defender emerged.

Moyes said: “There are different views whether he should be available. We decided he should. I stand by that.”

“I don’t think a club could have taken action any quicker than they’ve done at the moment. West Ham have done a really good job.”

“I’m not condoning him, his actions were terrible. They were diabolical but we’ve chosen to play him and we stand by that.”

“We will get him some help. We are trying to do as much as we can as a club, as a team, to help him.”

The Scottish manager added: “Like people who maybe have drink-driving offences, most of them have to go to classes to learn the reasons and the damage that can be done.”

“I think RSPCA are going to provide us some courses for Kurt to understand about animals and how to treat them.”

“He’s incredibly remorseful. Like everybody else, in life sometimes you need a bit of forgiveness. He’s hoping he is forgiven for a bad action.”
