Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has acknowledged the pressure he’s under to start winning games if he wants to keep the support of the club’s leadership and secure his position.
Newly-appointed CEO Omar Berrada recently voiced his support for Ten Hag following consecutive losses to Brighton and Liverpool, but those defeats have left United in a disappointing 14th place.
With their next match against Southampton looming on Saturday, the Dutch manager knows it’s a crucial game he can’t afford to lose, especially with mounting pressure so early in the season.

“In football, you have to win, you have to deliver, that’s clear,” Erik ten Hag stated. “It’s encouraging that the new leadership recognizes this and supports it. We are working together to aim higher and achieve more than we have so far.”
