Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland, has withdrawn from the Norway squad ahead of their Euro 2024 qualifier following a groin injury.
Haaland went into the international break with eight goals in two games for his side against RB Leipzig and Burnley, respectively, and linked up with his international teammates this week.
But after examinations, the 21-year-old has been given permission to return to his club side for proper treatment.

The development means Haaland will not take part in Norway’s upcoming games against Spain and Georgia respectively.
A statement from the Norwegian FA said the striker picked up the knock during a 6-0 FA Cup win over Burnley on Sunday.
Norway manager, Stale Solbakken, said: “Erling took it hard when he realized that he could not fight for the team.
“Fortunately, there is still plenty of self-confidence, talent and cohesion in this group to win points in the next matches.”
