The Europa League semi-final matchups for this season are now set following the conclusion of the quarter-final second legs on Thursday.
Bayer Leverkusen will square off against Roma in the Europa League Semi-Final. Leverkusen, newly crowned Bundesliga champions, drew 1-1 with West Ham after securing a 2-0 victory in the first leg in Germany. Meanwhile, Roma defeated AC Milan 2-1 at home, adding to their 1-0 win at the San Siro.
In the other semi-final, Atalanta will take on Marseille. Atalanta advanced with a 3-1 aggregate despite losing 1-0 to Liverpool, while Marseille overcame Benfica in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 aggregate draw.
The semi-final matches are scheduled for Thursday, May 2nd, and Thursday, May 9th.
