In an interview with ARISE TV, Yusuf described the crisis as a family affair between “blood brothers” and warned that anyone who gets involved will suffer consequences.

He expressed suspicion over the timing of the crisis, suggesting it may be a distraction from more pressing national issues.

Yusuf noted that many Kano citizens are uninterested in the matter and are not engaging in violent acts, emphasizing the need for a hands-off approach to resolve the issue internally.
