This happened at Yovoyan community in the Badagry area of Lagos State at about 2am on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that Charles allegedly shot dead the victims, identified as Richard Atideka and Latevi Atideka, both from the Yovoyan community and Muji Onilude from the neighbouring Gberefu community.
Confirming the incident and the latest developments, the spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, Benjamin Hundeyin said the suspect ended it all after commiting the crime.

He added that Charles consumed harmful substances, which knocked him out and made him unconscious.
He was pronounced dead after being rushed to the hospital.
“The man who is the suspect in the incident is dead. He k!lled three people and allegedly took poison after committing the act. He was thereafter rushed to the hospital, where the doctor confirmed him d3ad. His corpse and those of whom he killed have been deposited in the morgue.”
The PPRO added that the case had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
