Tunde Mark, the first son of former Senate President, Senator David Mark, is dead.

A family source told journalists that Tunde Mark died in the early hours of Friday in London, the United Kingdom.

Tunde reportedly suffered from cancer and died at the age of 51 years.

Although the situation surrounding his death was still sketchy, sources told the newspaper that the corpse would be flown to Nigeria as soon as possible.

Tunde was an alumnus of Yaba Military School, Lagos, and the prestigious Fernden Prep School, Haslemere, Surrey.

He graduated from Kings College, London, and later proceeded to study Biological Sciences at the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, Harvard, and Cambridge, Massachusetts.

He left behind a wife and a child.
