The Qatari royal, as reported by The Sun, is set to acquire the Red Devils for an estimated £6 billion ($7.9 billion).

According to the report, a specific date has been established for Sheikh Jassim to assume control. 

Importantly, the controversial Glazer family will not retain any ownership stake in the club moving forward.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, a prominent British billionaire, had been Sheikh Jassim’s primary competition in the bidding. 

However, sources suggest that Ratcliffe’s proposal would have allowed the Glazers to maintain partial ownership of the club.

In contrast, Sheikh Jassim is set to execute a complete takeover of Manchester United.
