Facts Emerge of How Davido’s Son, Ifeanyi Adeleke Died

Fresh facts have emerged on how the son of Davido, Ifeanyi Adeleke died.

Daily Report Nigeria had reported that the 3-year-old died after drowning in a pool in the family’s private home in Banana Island, Lagos State.

A close source to the family told Peoples Gazette that “The boy was inside water for too long and they pulled him out and rushed him to the hospital.

“By the time they rushed him to Lagoon Hospital it was already too late.”

The tragic death of Ifeanyi occured on Monday, October 31. He had just turned 3 on October 20.

Report has it that the deceased was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki but was pronounced dead on arrival.

According to sources, Davido and Chioma Rowland had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan on Monday and had left Ifeanyi under the care of his minders.

At the turn of the incident, the minders could not explain how Ifeanyi entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.

Linda Ikeji’s Blog reported that some persons present at Davido’s House when the incident happened have been arrested.

A distraught and inconsolable Davido was removed from Evercare Hospital and taken to his father’s house following the incident.

While the family is yet to make an official statement or confirm the report, the demise of Ifeanyi Adeleke has left many celebrities and fans of the singer emotional as many struggled to come to terms with the incident.

Ifeanyi Adeleke’s death is coming just two years after Dapo Oyebanjo, best known as D’banj, lost his son, who similarly drown in the family swimming pool.
