Rapper Folarin Falana, also known as Falz the Bahd Guy, has addressed rumors about his relationship with singer Simi. These speculations arose after they released a joint EP titled “Chemistry” in 2016.
In a recent interview with Hip TV, Falz clarified that their connection was purely musical. He recounted how he first contacted Simi after hearing her hit song “Jamb Question,” which led to their collaboration on the remix.
“I met Simi in 2013 or 2014. When I first heard ‘Jamb Question,’ I reached out to her and told her I had written a verse for the remix, even though we hadn’t discussed it,” he said. “We went on to do it, shot the video, and from then on, every other track we worked on felt so natural. She’s like family; we really clicked musically, and we had to explore that. It was beautiful.”

Falz recently featured on “Borrow Me Your Baby” from Simi’s latest album, “Lost and Found.”
Simi’s marriage to fellow singer Adekunle Gold on January 9, 2019, put an end to the rumors of her alleged relationship with Falz. The couple welcomed their first child, Adejare, in 2020.
