Family Holds Service of Songs For Late Sunday Feke

The family of the late Hon Prince Sunday Krokonghan Feke on Tuesday held a service of songs for the deceased.

The funeral took place at his residence in Warri, Delta State.

Feke hails from Ayakoromo Town of Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State.

The chairman and chief executive officer of DABSTIC Dredging and Construction Limited died at age sixty after a brief illness on December 30, 2022.

Also a politician and member of the Advisory Committee of Burutu LGA Peoples Democratic Party Campaign Council, Feke left behind a wife and six children.

Giving his testimonial, Eng Felix Braboke, SA to the executive director of DESOPADEC, described the deceased as a sincere man.

He said:

I met Feke in 2020 when DESOPADEC awarded him a jetty contract. From that very day, I saw sincerity and passion in him. When the Jetty later had a defect while I was away, he called and I assembled our engineers to fix it. Since then the Jetty in Obotebe 1 became one of the best Jetties in the riverain area.”

Rt Hon Frank Enokoroghan, Former Speaker and Member House of Representatives, during his testimonial, called the deceased a reliable man.

He said:

Sunday Feke is a reliable man. We are gathered here because of his hospitality and good lifestyle. Sunday Feke left a legacy worthy of remembrance.”

Also, Mr Ekaga, a landlord and neigbour to the Feke described the deceased as a peaceful man.

Ekaga said:

Feke is a nice and easygoing person. He has contributed properly to the estate growth.”

Other notable dignitaries present were Hon Chief Ekisah, vice chairman of Burutu LGA Council; Hon Sunny Perekeme, Secretary Burutu LGA Council; Chief Hon James Niyekete, SSA to Delta State Governor; Hon Paul Kurugpe member Delta State SUBEB; Comr Mike Edoukumo, Political Adviser Burutu LGA; Mrs Unice Ngozi, member Delta State Post Primary Education; Hon Godwin Edumoberen; Engeener Jerimihan, Assistant Director, NDDC Delta State; Chief Peres Oloye, Candidate PDP, Burutu Constituency 2; Kofi Ebisine, SSA to Delta State Governor; Hon Chief Dan Yingi, amongst others.
