Fanfare as Iduwini Traditional Council Holds End of Year Party

There was fanfare and celebration on Saturday as the Iduwini Traditional Council of Delta State held its 2023 End of Year Party and Meeting.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that the colorful event held at Ofougbene community in the kingdom.

The event began with a meeting, which mainly focused on appraisal of the outgoing year and how the council fared.

Flagging the occasion off, HRM Dio Bosu, Ayamabou I, lauded the Council for their efforts ans contributions to the kingdom in the outgoing year.

The monarch further charged members of the Council to prepare and show commitment ahead of the forthcoming year.

Highlight of the occasion was the installation of two new chiefs in the persons of Chief Dr. Akpos Mezeh as the Gemegu of Iduwini Kingdom and his wife, Chief Mrs Ederimoere Mezeh as the Yei Ebimoere of Iduwini Kingdom.

Also, Chief John Ogubirisi was bestowed with the Wurutuwawei of Iduwini Kingdom chieftaincy title.

The event witnessed cultural displays and other activities.
