Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Rivers United have signed Fatai Osho on a permanent deal on Monday 12th of October.

The gaffer who exited his former club at the expiration of his contract will now join hands with Stanley Eguma, the club’s Technical Adviser.

The Outgoing manager of the Eight-time Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, Enyimba supplanted Ndubuise Nduka who now emerged as Technical Director.

His appointment was confirmed on Monday via a statement on the club’s official Facebook page;

“We’re delighted to announce Fatai Osho has joined the club as our Chief Coach.”

“Fatai replaced Coach Ndubisi Nduka who has been elevated to the office of Technical Director.”

Fatai, who was appointed by Enyimba on the 6th of January 2020, parted ways with the team after appointment by Rivers United.

He previously took charge of Remo Stars from the 6th of September 2018 till the 17th of January 2019 before he heading to Enyimba last season.

His first assignment is fixed for October when his side will be clashing against Al-Hilal of Sudan in the next round of CAF Champions League play-off.
