Men of the Delta State Police command have arrested a man for the alleged rape of his daughter in the state.
The suspect, identified as David, a 48-year-old HIV/AIDS patient is said to have defiled his 10-year old daughter.
Reports from DAILY POST showed medical reports of the victim showing constant penetration, implying that David repeatedly defiled his daughter, name withheld.
It was gathered that the suspect, who was arrested on Friday morning, April 5 had slept with many unsuspecting women in the community, with the plan of spreading the virus to them, including his wife.
His cover got blown after his wife discovered their daughter was Ill and took her to an hospital where her HIV status showed positive.
Upon interrogation, the little girl revealed her father had been constantly having carnal knowledge of her.

When contacted, the spokesperson of the Delta State Police command, SP Bright Edafe said,
”I don’t know about AIDs but yes he is in custody.”
Also in a telephone chat he said,”Yes! The man is in custody.”
