Father Rapes 17-year-old Daughter
An Ekiti Magistrates’ Court in Ado Ekiti has ordered the remand of one Emmanuel Bejide, 40, in prison custody for allegedly raping his 17-year-old daughter.
The 17-year-old girl, an SS3 Student narrated how her father raped her several times and promised to take her on a trip to Malaysia.
The victim told the police that her father lured her to a hotel in September 2020 and had sexual intercourse with her, promising to take her to Malaysia.

According to the charge, the offence contravened section 31 of the Child Right Laws of Ekiti.
The investigative police officer added that the defendant was arrested on August 21, 2021, when the alleged rape was reported.
Meanwhile, the case has been adjourned until September 16, for mention.
