Reports claim the incident occurred shortly after Peller’s alleged breakup with his girlfriend and fellow content creator, Jarvis, a development that drew sharp criticism from social media users who accused him of endangering lives.
Reacting on Monday, the FRSC, in a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), confirmed that its Lagos Command had been instructed to prosecute the TikTok star.
According to the statement, the Corps Marshal, Shehu Muhammed, ordered Peller’s prosecution for reckless driving, distracted driving, and use of a mobile phone while driving, in line with existing traffic laws.

Muhammed also called on entertainment stakeholders, including the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), content creators, and other industry groups, to caution their members against abusing public roads for stunts or emotional displays.
He warned that the increasing use of roads for dangerous content creation poses serious risks to public safety.
“Fame does not confer immunity from the law, nor does it excuse dangerous behaviour on public roads,” the FRSC stated.
