Afolake Abiola, a 45-year-old accountant has committed suicide by drinking a popular pesticide, Sniper.
Reports noted that the Lagos telecoms accountant died on Friday, May 27, 2022, at her home, 1 Abayomi Kukomi close in Osapa London, Lekki, Lagos State.
Newsmen gathered that Abiola who is single, and childless had suffered depression for a while before she took her life.

Meanwhile, the Lagos state
spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin on confirming the incident, announced the incident happened on May 27, 2022.
He said:
“When the policemen got to the scene, her family members were there and they officially requested that the corpse be released to them to enable them to bury her according to Islamic rites.
“Based on compassionate grounds her corpse was released to her family for burial.”
Afolake is said to have worked with leading telecommunication companies like Globacom in the past.
