Ethnic Nationalities to Hold One Day Summit on Challenges, Future of Niger Delta.

The Forum for Ethnic Nationalities of the Niger Delta, FENND has announced a one day summit to discuss critical issues bothering on the region.

The announcement was contained in public circular sent out by the organisers on Tuesday.

The group charged all well meaning Niger Deltans across the nine states in the region to attend the summit.

Stakeholders from all ethnicities in the region will be analysing and disecting various challenges facing the Niger Delta, and proffering workable solutions to them.

The one day summit tagged ‘NIGER DELTA: OUR CHALLENGE, OUR FUTURE’ is set to pave a new pathway for the actualization of a well developed and structured region.

The summit is scheduled to hold on August 14, 2021, at Esther Hall, Ayalla Hotels, Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State, by 9am.

Keynote speakers at the summit include foremost hydrogeologist, Chief Ebitimi Tawari and Chief Chris Akpotu, President of Isoko Development Union.
