FG Arrests IPOB Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
Nigeria’s federal government has arrested the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
This was disclosed by the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, on Tuesday, Nnamdi Kanu was arrested following a collaborative effort between security agencies in Nigeria and the Interpol.
Malami who made the disclosure during a press briefing at the Ministry of Justice in Abuja, stated that Nnamdi Kanu was arrested and brought back to Nigeria Sunday.

According to Malami, the IPOB leader will soon be brought before the Federal High Court where he had earlier jumped bail.
Nnamdi Kanu was faced with charges bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony, unlawful possession of firearms and management of an unlawful society.
